Today I started a new project titled 4x5x365. My plan is to shoot at least one sheet of 4×5 film every day for the next year, and see how it turns out. My goal is to get better at shooting 4×5 film and share my journey along this difficult path with others.

THIS is why I still shoot large format film. I shot this photo of my father in January 2014 and just now developed it in April 2015. My heart skipped a beat when I pulled it out of the wash. It was a very difficult shot to take and luck was on my side.
